Interaction design
An interaction design consists of a prototype website in which the end user is taken into account. An interaction design is designed from the user’s point of view and displays the interaction between the visitor and the website. Creating an interaction design has many advantages, such as:
- Different parties get more insight in to the way the new site works.
- Less adjustments on the new website at a later stage; the time the project takes will decrease and expense reduced.
- The completed interaction design is created in such a way that it can be displayed to end users, for instance by conducting a usability concept test.
- In the end, the complete and authorised design forms the basis for the final building and creating of a user friendly website.
Working method
2C’s interaction designers are capable of designing a clickable interaction design or prototype (also known as wire frame or demo) from a website in a relatively short time. Because of many years of experience with usability and websites, our designers can sympathize with end users and the way they think and react. This knowledge and creative skills make it possible to create a user friendly interaction design.
During the design of the prototype, 2C puts a new version online every day. This way you can keep up with the design and give feedback on the latest developments.
When
An interaction design is created before a website is built or texts are written. When new complex functionalities or features are added to a website, an interaction design can be a resolution as well.
Research time & deliverables
The time to conduct the study depends on the size of the website and the number of functionalities that need to be elaborated. The interaction design or the clickable prototype is delivered in such a way that it can be used for a usability test with participants.
