It is very important that they can easily find the necessary information and products on the website.
More and more organisations realize that the sooner the knowledge about user behaviour is implemented, the greater the chance of success for a project becomes. 2C offers to apply our usability expertise on an as-needed basis or at fixed times in the process. 2C will adopt the role of ‘the user advocate’ within the project. This side steps previously identified problems that occur with users and leads to a more efficient working method.
Working method
A usability expert of 2C can provide usability advice by:
- Meeting with a project team regularly
- Attending a project meeting as needed
- Providing quick advice and feedback about a design or proposal for a new website or part of a website.
When
You can be assured that the end user is constantly represented during the development and design process. This heads off usability problems that are easily avoided thus saving time and money.
For less complex projects or processes it may be sufficient to apply usability expertise at certain specific times. For instance we could apply the expertise at the start of a project and at delivery. This way, you avoid time consuming adjustments of designs when it appears that they don’t meet the user needs.
Research time & deliverables
The time required for the tests varies a lot for each project, as does the chosen working method. Quick advice differs from an hour to a couple of days, depending on the size and complexity of the requested advice.
